Friday Beer Blogging

I think this is the right label. I got this beer on tap at a restraunt, so I'm not certain.

Overall, I wasn't terribly impressed. It's an amber ale on the verge of slipping into a pilsner. It didn't have a bad flavor, but it lacked complexity.

I had it with a nice, juicy steak that could have sustained a much heartier beer.

How about a plug for the restaurant then? One never knows when one will be diving around Oregon with a craving for a good steak.

I thought Redtail was a bit watery myself.

Yeah, watery sounds about right -- a little stronger term than I would have used, but it sounds like the same beer.

John,
The restraunt was the Stockpot, which has pretty decent food, but if I was drivig around Oregon with a craving, I would opt for Morton's or The Keg, or if you want to avoid restraunt chains and sample the local fare, Jake's Grill.
